Messaging platform whatsApp has withdraw the deadline of may 15 to update its disputed privacy policy. On friday WhatsApp say that the accounts do not follow the new terms and conditions will not be deleted but this is not sure that the company will announce a new deadline or withdraw from the new policy or due to dispute.
The WhatsApp verdict came the next day of hearing in the Delhi High Court, after the court sought a response from the CCI on the petition of WhatsApp and Facebook to investigate their new policies, before the proposed policy of WhatsApp in January, users have given their data rights. Chimpanzee was worried about the users that WhatsApp will share their data with their proprietary company Facebook Ink.
WhatsApp spokesperson announces new policy deadline not currently in force. He replaid in an emailed reply that no account will be deleted on 15 may due to non-acceptance of updates related to new privacy policy and no WhatsApp service closed in india. The spokeperson say that most of the users who recieved the update is agreed on their terms and policy. But the number of users who agreed on thier terms and services are not define and why the company changes its stance. According to government data about 53 crore users of WhatsApp in India and this is the largest share of total users of WhatsApp across the world.
